FRITZY BANG BANG DOES CLEANUP is fed up with all the people throwing rubbish into the ocean. Find out all about it by going to my Color and Write page. Everything can be downloaded for free. My Color and Write Stories are fun for children who have begun to write, as there are speech bubbles to be filled in on each of the four pages, and a writing prompt page.

These Color and Write Stories are finding their way into classrooms, after school programs and home schooling. They are also fun for instilling teamwork as each story can be divided between four children working on the same project.

FROM LINE DRAWING TO FINISHED ARTWORK

At my FISH Art and Craft event each child and adult got a hand drawn fish to color, paint and stick bits on. My drawings are all a bit different but their efforts always amaze me. They are so imaginative and original. Coloring and painting with water-soluble crayons makes it easy for all capabilities. It makes me happy to see the parents get a relaxing break in their day. FISH ART & CRAFT PROJECT – RESULTS FROM SMALL CHILDREN

My FISH event at the North Beach branch of the San Francisco library went very well with about 40 people.

Using water-soluble crayons seems to enable small children to get good results. They color and then paint with water. The younger the child, the more they stick on afterwards. I love seeing their results and think them very clever. See more images of my FISH event on my Art and Craft Projects page.

FISH ART & CRAFT EVENT AT NORTH BEACH PUBLIC LIBRARY RECAP!

Last Thursday at the North Beach branch of the San Francisco Public Library, I had my FISH Art and Craft event. I was thrilled with the amazing turnout—such fun!

I love the fact that the moms paint and glue as much as the children. The soluble crayons can be tricky at first so am noticing more and more exciting results as everyone is getting used to them. I thought the boys would go for the sharks but the girls were very keen on them as well. They of course stuck pink flowers and gems all over them!

Some of my budding artists preferred painting and others gluing—both with terrific results. See my events calendar page for future Art and Craft Projects.
