After a fun-filled day at TelHi during their summer program, these preschool and 1st graders are coloring my line drawings. The story is based on my MY DOG HENRY Preschool Color Story. Like everyone else, I of course write stories about my dog, a charming yorkie named Henry. The children were terrific and inspired, although by this time they were ready for their pick me up snack! Here are a few photos from my preschool and 1st grade summer event at TelHi. They are coloring images from my MY DOG HENRY story. I gave them line drawings inspired by my yorkie Henry. The children didn’t need any encouragement to ignore his actual coloring. I love their individuality and enthusiasm! Download my Preschool Color Stories for free here!
This is an image from one of my books, which is one of my favorites modeled after my adorable Yorkie Henry. He is the protagonist in many of my books. When Henry wakes up in the morning he looks just like this. I especially love his tummy and foot in the air! I also gave him his favorite toy.
Please check out my books in my Gallery. You will be able to read them all for FREE!
This is the front cover of my picture book, FUDDLEY DUDDLEY MAKES FRIENDS, about a yorkie (inspired by my dog Henry) meeting birds and bugs in his garden. I believe children are fascinated by bugs, so I keep adding them to my books.
This is an image from one of my books. It is about my dog Henry, called Fuddley Duddley in this story, living in San Francisco. We do live in San Francisco but sadly not in this Victorian house with its large garden on top of a hill. Fuddley Duddley needed a large garden in this story as it is about him playing with all the bugs and birds. Through an adventure he learns to be less rough when playing. All ends up as peaceful and happy as this illustration.
