This is an image from one of my books, The Day Duddley Jumped Into Monterey Bay. In this story, Duddley (inspired by my dog Henry!) jumps into Monterey Bay and interacts with all the sea creatures. I had a small problem with Duddley being able to breathe under water, so I had him dreaming the whole adventure. When he wakes up, he trots off to the Monterey Bay Aquarium to see all of his sea creature pals. This is part of a list of the sea creatures he interacts with for the children reading the book.
This is a page from my book, THE DAY DUDDLEY JUMPED INTO MONTEREY BAY. Duddley the yorkie has lots of underwater adventures, including making friends with an otter. Read my entire book for free in my Gallery.
The Monterey Bay Aquarium inspired the story of this book. The aquarium is filled with a vast variety of mesmerizing creatures out of Monterey Bay.
Monterey Bay is unusually deep and goes from the light water in the tide pools, through the kelp forests, down into the vast mid blue area, down into the black lightless water and finally to the sandy murky bottom. In this story, Duddley falls into the water and interacts with all the creatures to the very bottom.
