I just discovered Dyanna Wolcott. She is a published author and an illustrator of children's books. Some of the published credits of Dyanna Wolcott include Rain Romp: Stomping Away a Grouchy Day by Jane Kurtz and Dog Days: Rhymes Around the Year by Jack Prelustsky.

I particularly like her illustration for I Am Me written by Karla Kuskin. The illustrations are full of wonderful colors and positively undulate along with the rhymes in the story.

I came across an illustration of hers for The Present—A Gift Of Inspiration Affirmation And Contemplation on Dyanna Wolcott's G+ page, but it isn't clear whether this project was ever published. I love the colors, composition and texture of this image.

Karla Kuskin was an award-winning poet and author of many children’s books. All of them are fun and most original. She received multiple awards.

My favorite is: So what’s it like to be a cat? For starters it is endlessly original and wonderfully illustrated with Betsy Lewin’s drawings—a perfect combination.

It is such a fun idea to have a boy interview, in perfect rhyme, a cat on what it is like to be a cat. The book is a delight to any cat lover but also for any child learning to understand it is okay to be different.

Some of her other books are:
