This is the front cover of my picture book, FUDDLEY DUDDLEY MAKES FRIENDS, about a yorkie (inspired by my dog Henry) meeting birds and bugs in his garden. I believe children are fascinated by bugs, so I keep adding them to my books.
This is an image from one of my books. It is about my dog Henry, called Fuddley Duddley in this story, living in San Francisco. We do live in San Francisco but sadly not in this Victorian house with its large garden on top of a hill. Fuddley Duddley needed a large garden in this story as it is about him playing with all the bugs and birds. Through an adventure he learns to be less rough when playing. All ends up as peaceful and happy as this illustration.
This is an illustration of Henry having a serious discussion with a daisy and and the bugs in the garden. He had been having too good a time squishing the daisies and chasing the bugs. He hadn't realized he was being too rough! Henry is based on my Yorkie who seems to wiggle himself into many of my books. You can read the whole book for free in my Gallery.
