In case you missed it, I have added a brand new page dedicated to my Cartoon events at TelHi, the first of which was this June and that will resume this fall. Starting in September I shall post more photos of the TelHi children's efforts here on my blog and also on the Cartooning page. Please visit my page for photos of the June event and FREE downloads of my cartoon pages!
Joyful results from my SUMMER event at the North Beach branch of the San Francisco Public Library last month! For the children I provided water soluble crayons as they're usually fail-safe.
I start them with permanent ink drawings, and after that the sky is the limit. It doesn’t matter what they do—it looks splendid. I enjoy their creativity and love being with them. See more photos on my Art and Craft Projects page!
These photos are from my SUMMER event at the North Beach branch of the San Francisco Public Library. The children use water soluble crayons over my permanent ink drawings. Crayons are easier than paints for small children to control.
The children are endlessly creative and this time used vivid colors. I love the fact someone turned the trowel in the bucket into a cactus. As always the sticking on part is the best! See more of my event photos on my Art and Craft Projects page!
Here are children and moms seriously creating wonders! They took part in my SUMMER Art and Craft Project event at the North Beach branch of the San Francisco Public Library. They started with my permanent ink drawings with an object to cut out and stick on, plus letters to add. I always give them water soluble crayons and water to swish around.
The favorite part is sticking on endless objects. As you can see no summer painting is complete without a variety of butterflies and a blue strawberry!
My SUMMER event at the North Beach branch of the San Francisco Public Library was tons of fun! I put out hand drawn pages in permanent ink. Children also got an individual object to color and cut out, plus letters spelling SUMMER. They then had water soluble crayons and endless stuff to stick on. The butterflies went very quickly!
I am so proud of the children’s creativity—they never disappoint! It is a privilege to work with them. See more of my events on my Art and Craft Projects page.
