This is FRITZY BANG BANG, one of my favorite Color and Write Story protagonists. I am going to try him out June 15th at TelHi. I have created a summer event for 2nd to 5th graders. I hope the children will find learning how to draw cartoon characters interesting. I will give them a felt tipped pen to draw over the guidelines. If it is a success, I will move on to working with them on their own characters. I will post the results. Fingers crossed!!
This is the front cover of my picture book, FUDDLEY DUDDLEY MAKES FRIENDS, about a yorkie (inspired by my dog Henry) meeting birds and bugs in his garden. I believe children are fascinated by bugs, so I keep adding them to my books.
There were so many wonderful birds at my Art and Craft Project event last Thursday at North Beach Public Library, I had to share more! My next event will be on March 23rd and will be FLOWERS AND BUTTERFLIES. Hope you can come.
My next Art With Elizabeth Art and Craft day at the North Beach Public Library is THIS THURSDAY, February 23rd at 4pm! The event features BIRDS and uses water soluble crayons, felt tip pens and an endless supply of fun things to stick on.
I think it is important to make art and craft projects as inspirational as possible, and I encourage children and their parents to be imaginative. The sky is the limit. See images of past craft events at the library on my Art & Craft Projects page.
I'm excited to expand my Art and Craft Project events to once a month at the North Beach Public Library! The next event on February 23 features BIRDS and uses water soluble crayons, felt tip pens and an endless supply of fun things to stick on.
