HALLOWEEN AT NORTH BEACH LIBRARY TODAY 4PM!

It is Halloween and the perfect time for witches and cats! Please get in the mood and come to my HALLOWEEN art and craft event at the North Beach branch of the San Francisco Public Library. It will be TODAY, October 19th at 4:00 PM, 850 Columbus Ave., San Francisco.

There will be the usual drawings to be colored in by water soluble crayons and delightful things to stick everywhere! I will also have colored felt for cutting out if little fingers are up to it.

CARTOONING AT TelHi RECAP – PART 1

These fun images are from my after school event at TelHi for 2nd through 5th graders. In spite of having a full day before, the children managed to rally. I had them color, write in the speech bubbles and doodle in the monster. Once they had finished, we made paper planes and flew them. Of course one ended in the radiator! It was all over in a jiffy and they ran off for their snack—such fun. Check out more images from TelHi here.

SEPTEMBER ART & CRAFT PROJECT AT THE LIBRARY – PART 3

I never get over how creative children are. These are some results from my ANIMAL HEADS event at the North Beach branch of the San Francisco Public Library. They colored my permanent ink drawings with water soluble crayons and then stuck on all and everything. I especially like the cow’s do, with sticking up yarn and flowers! SEPTEMBER ART & CRAFT PROJECT AT THE LIBRARY – RECAP PART 2

I can't believe how much fun we all had at my ANIMAL HEADS Art and Craft event at the North Beach branch of the San Francisco Public Library. Everyone was given permanent ink drawings to color with water soluble crayons and then go mad with sticking on crazy stuff.

During my events, my favorite results come from Preschoolers when adults leave them to let their creativity run wild. I don’t think any panda has ever looked better! See more images from my Art and Craft Library events here!

SEPTEMBER AT THE LIBRARY – RECAP PART 1

It is September and I have started back up with my events at the North Beach Branch of the San Francisco Public Library. I provided drawings of animal heads in permanent ink and the children colored with water soluble crayons, sloshed water about and stuck on a million things.

I had forgotten how much fun it is seeing the children fully engaged. The expression on the small boy’s face while creating a sort of mud pie made it all worthwhile. See my future library events on my Calendar page.
